Saint Barbara’s feast day

You are currently viewing Saint Barbara’s feast day
Saint Barbara’s feast day, celebrated on December 4, provides a wonderful opportunity for young children to engage in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
Today, our PS and KG1 students were engaged in creative crafts by making Saint Barbara’s masks. They decorated their masks and wore them to celebrate this special day.
Another beloved tradition associated with Saint Barbara’s Day is planting wheat. Our young learners eagerly participated in this activity, filling small bottles with cotton, seeds, and water. As they watch their wheat sprouts grow over the coming weeks, they’ll remember the miracle of the growing wheat behind which Saint Barbara hid from her father’s soldiers.
Celebrating Saint Barbara offers a delightful blend of creativity, tradition, and nature, making it a memorable experience for all.
