We are proud and honored to participate in the project “Social Entrepreneurship in Time of Crisis”, funded by the Erasmus and CBHE programs. Université La Sagesse was represented by Dean Sandra Ghosn, on behalf of Professor Georges Nehme, the university president, as well as by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA), with the presence of Dr. Alain Osta, head of the Management department and the coordinator of this project.
This project is of paramount importance to ULS as it opens new perspectives and opportunities for our students and teachers in the field of social entrepreneurship.
It was an exceptional moment shared with our international partners, including l’Union Méditerranéenne des Universités (UNIMED), l’Université Internationale Telematica (UNINETTUNO – Italie), l’Université Technologique de Shannon – Irlande, as well as our local partners, Saint Joseph University, Lebanese University, and Al-Azm University.
We had the pleasure of participating with the presidents and deans of partner universities, as well as the coordinator of the Erasmus+ national office, Dr. Aref El-Soufi, the project director at the European Commission, Mr. Clivio Cavali, and Ms. Olga Colclough, assistant for International Cooperation and focal point for higher education.
We express our deep gratitude to the FGM team who are leading on the project and worked on the success of this event especially Prof. May Merhej Sayegh, the main project coordinator, Dr. Rima Rouhana, and Ms. Salwa Abboud.
